Two children of the late award winning UK drummer, Ginger Baker, are planning to challenge his will in which he left his estate to his Zimbabwean born wife, Kudzai Baker.

Ginger, who died on 3 October 2018, played in many popular UK bands and is survived by his widow ,Kudzai Baker and his two adult children Nettie and Kofi, both from his previous marriages.

The relationship between Ginger and his daughter, Nettie, broke down after Ginger made his lawyers the executors of his will in 2016.

This Angered Nettie who then embarked on a smear campaign that included reporting Ginger’s young wife, Kudzai, to police and social welfare services for many frivolous reasons.

Ginger responded by cutting Nettie off and wanted to take her off from the will completely.

However, Kudzai convinced Ginger to keep the two children ( Kofi and Nettie) in the will, although at a much reduced percentage.

It is this will that the Children are now planning to challenge.

In early 2020, Kudzai told British Media that Nettie has been releasing false stories about her.

Kudzai said she spend thousands of pounds on lawyers sending Nettie cease and desist letters which were ignored.

Kudzai said Nettie ‘s behavior is continuing from the time when Ginger was alive. Ginger had to send Nettie at least two cease and desist letters when he was alive.
