Gauteng Province in South Africa is preparing locations for burial of up to 1.5 Million people due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

This was said by the Provincial Health MEC Dr Bandile Masuku while speaking to eTV.

Masuku and officials from the forensic pathology services visited an area reserved for COVID-19 burials in Tshwane on Wednesday.

The overall percentage testing positive in South Africa is 11.8%

People will be buried in mass graves at the identified sites and Masuku said the grave will have one headstone.
