South Africa has closed the Beitbridge Border Post after one customs officer tested positive for Covid 19.
It is said that the border was closed to allow health authorities to disinfect the premises to minimize chances of having more infections.
Officials at the border have stopped accepting trucks from Zimbabwe and South Africa until the disinfection has been completed.
Recently, South Africans were clearing commercial traffic which is in their customs authority as they wait for further instructions from the South African government.
