Obadiah Moyo has been fired as Minister of Health and Child Care in Zimbabwe after a corruption scandal emerged against him.
In an official statement, President Emmerson Mnangagwa relieved Moyo as the Minister PF Health for inappropriate conduct for a Government minister following his involvement in a coronavirus equipment procurement scandal popularly known as Covidgate scandal.
Obadiah Moyo was arrested in June last month and charged with abuse of office however since then he was released from police detention and allowed to sleep at his house.
