Zimbabwean Defence minister Oppah Muchinguri denied allegations that soldiers were harassing citizens across the country and said that they are acting in accordance with police orders.

She said that soldiers that are patrolling with the police are there to enforce and make sure citizens abide to the regulations set by the government and World Health Organisation.

Oppah said that they have not received reports of Soldiers harassing communities and that those allegations are mere rumours because soldiers are the most disciplined so much that many sectors seek their help.
