Defence Minister Oppah Muchinguri-Kashiri has dismissed allegations of military harassing people in communities.
Muchinguri said she is yet to receive reports of military brutality.
“There is a very clear set of rules and regulations that we must observe”, she said.
She added that Zimbabwe is one of the countries with a disciplined military force operating with high professionalism.
This comes after serious accusations have been levelled against the army for having stepped up military brutality during the enforcement of Covid-19 lockdown.
Muchinguri said there are marshall courts which act as a deterrents against abuses of communities by state security forces.
