Thokozani Khupe’s aides Kudzanani Shumba and George Rice claimed on Wednesday that they were assaulted and barred from entering Harvest house by Mwonzora’s aides.
Speaking to Simba Chikanza of Zimeye, Mashumba said he was manhandled by one of Mwonzora security details who were manning the entrance while Rice was not allowed into the building altogether.
Mwonzora’s bodyguards are said to have pushed Mashumba to the ground that he sustained a few injuries however he did not go to the hospital as he was waiting for Khupe.
When the security details were asked who gave them instructions to bar the aides, their response was that it was from their President Mwonzora.
Mashumba said, “it comes as no surprise that they are already calling him President as this is testified by his miniature motorcade he is seen travelling with these days”.
Mashumba said Mwonzora parades as non violent while he is a master mind at it.
He added that he wants disciplinary measures to be taken against Mwonzora’s alleged bodyguard.
