Former UN Under-Secretary-General, Carlos Lopes says Zimbabwe problems are not caused by sanctions but by bad management.
In an interview with Trevor Carlos Lopes said that it is bad management that ended up dismantling the once bread basket of Africa with strong Agricultural and industrial sector to a struggling economy.
He said that Zimbabwe is one of the most resilient countries with the most resilient people and is going to have one of the fastest economic recoveries in the world once everything is right.
Carlos Lopes said that Zimbabwe has one of the best Human Resources and has the capacity to have a big and successful economy only if there are courageous actors in the leadership.
