MDC Alliance youth leader Womberaiishe Nhende has come out and revealed his story of how he was almost beaten up to death by police officers during the harvest house takeover by Mwonzora and Khupe.

Nhende said that from what he saw, the policemen were clearly receiving orders from Douglas Mwonzora just as the events started because the police officers could tell who were Nelson Chamisa’ s people.

He says that he was just coming from Lunch when he was run down by many policemen and beaten up while the policemen threatened to kill him saying he was going to die for Chamisa.

After sometime he could no longer move his legs and whole body and was raised up and put in a police van where he was beat up again on the head till he fainted.

He later woke up on the ground with water all over him and was then taken to the police station in Harare CBD where the officer in charge started an argument with police officers who brought him, refusing to take him in custody in fear of his death.

After a while one of Tendai Biti’s advocates came and took some pictures the moment he saw Nhende lying on the floor and shivering which then made police officers question him for taking pictures.

After a while of turmoil and arguments between the police and some advocates in the room he was taken to the cells before MDC Alliance advocates gave him some pain killers helped with some paper work to get him out.
