South African Musician Tshepiso Mafokeng who has Major Depressive disorder says her condition started when she was young when her parents used to be always fighting all the time.

She says she would witness her mother and father quarrelling everytime until one day she saw her father pack up his clothes in a suitcase along with all the court hangers.

Tshepiso says that it was at that point where her emotional disorder started getting worse as she would just start getting emotional at school and starts crying and she would be sent home.

At some point in time her sister fell so ill that she had to be admitted and put in Intensive Care Unit and seeing her sibling there made her so emotional that she was crying and depressed for days.

Once she was so depressed at school that she was admitted at the hospital and had to quit school because she could not handle all the emotions.

Not so long after, her mother was stabbed to death and she came to see her with many people gathered around her with police saying she was badly stabbed she could not be seen by anyone.

From that time she says she has been taking medication for her Bipolar condition and been receiving emotional support from her husband and she says it gets better when she knows she has a partner who supports her.
