SELF exiled former Cabinet Minister Professor Jonathan Moyo has said reports that Nelson Chamisa has gagged party officials from speaking their own views is only done by Stalinists & control freaks.
Posting on twitter Professor Moyo said: “Pray this is not true. Only Stalinists & control freaks restrict messaging to a select group of party apparatchiks. In political communication, it’s not about WHO should speak but WHAT should be said by EVERYONE: message discipline”.
This comes after Daily News reports that Chamisa has gagged all officials, only spokesperson Fadzayi Mahere speaks to media.
Moyo said restricting divergent voices reduces Chamisa and his party to a “toothpaste company”.
