Grain Millers Association of Zimbabwe (Gmaz) chairperson Tafadzwa Musarara clashed with Justice Wadyajena chairperson of the parliament portfolio committee on Agriculture after he was denied the right to legal representation while presenting evidence.

Wadyajena’s remarks triggered emotions with Musarara threatening to walk out of the meeting as he felt his rights were being infringed.

Wadyajena claimed that Musarara had received money from the RBZ to import grain through his company but was claiming the money went to GMAZ.

Speaking to journalists after the meeting, Musarara claimed that Wadyajena was bitter after he could not secure a contract and he is using parliament to settle personal scores.

Wadyajena however dismissed claims of ever looking for a contract to transport grains from Musarara, demanded evidence to prove the claims.
