Gambakwe Media sources have revealed that one of General Chiwenga ‘s bodyguards killed a village boy in Mudzi.

Tadiwanashe Katambarare was  aged 9 years old and died on 17 April 2020.

He was grade 2 at Nyamakuyo primary school in Mudzi district, Mash East Province in Chinake Village under chief Mukota.

Local boys who saw Chiwenga’s helicopters at their village had sorrounded it and moved closer when it was taking off.

The boys were excited to observe as it was their first time to see a helicopter.

The boys did not know that soldiers on guard were hiding in the shrubs that surrounded the whole airstrip, providing security to General Chiwenga.

One soldier, armed to the teeth, appeared from the bush and harshly shouted to the boys to stop.

The boys ran for dear life with Tadiwanashe trailing behind as the elder boys outran him.

According to eye wittiness, the deceased boy fell on the ground and it is suspected that the soldier may have hit him with his gun.

The other boys said they did not see what happened to the late Tadiwanashe.

Currently, the body of late Tadiwanashe is still in Parirenyatwa motuary awaiting postmortem.
