TWENTY-THREE women and childrenĀ  who were in quarantine in Plumtree high following deportation from Botswana were dumped along Harare road in Bulawayo after testing negative for covid-19.

Amakhosikazi media revealed that the stranded women were rescued by pastor Pedzisai Sam Sithole who took them to his home until until transport to ferry them was ogarnised.

Speaking to Amakhosikazi media, Pastor Sithole condoned the act saying it was a sign of negligence.

He said rescuing the women was only possible through the help of other organisations and individuals like Zenzele Ndebele who helped transport the women from Harare road to the pastor’sĀ  home.

The minister of state ensured that women and children were ferried to their homes
