ZANU-PF South Africa Spokesman Kennedy Mandaza says more than 3 000 Zimbabweans in South Africa will be repatriated to Zimbabwe after experiencing hardships due to the lockdown.

The lockdown extension has made it hard for Zimbabweans to fend themselves as most of them work in the informal sector.

Mandaza said Zimbabweans are expected to apply through a (link) which has been circulated online, they fill in their details including assistance they need.

Mandaza added that there are two options for the type of assistance one needs which include repatriation and food packages.

He said the Zimbabwean embassy is working together with the South African government to undertake all necessary steps to assist everyone.

Upon arrival to Zimbabwe, they will all be quarantined for a period of 21days to curb the spread of coronavirus which has seen Zimbabwe with 25 cases including three deaths
