MDC Alliance President, Nelson Chamisa has this morning announced a Zimbabwe Independence day campaign that left everyone scratching their heads.

Writing on his social media platforms, Nelson Chamisa said Zimbabwe’s independence is a dream that is shattered by hurt and pain from tyranny, violence, corruption and stolen elections.

Chamisa promised new beginnings as Zimbabwe nears its Independence day on the 18th of April

“life begins at 40… New is coming”.

He said on the 18th of April people should celebrate for change.

“Wherever you are on the day at 6pm, rekindle the dream and clap forty times for Change”.

The MDC has always blamed ZANU PF’s for Zimbabwe’s hardships both economically and politically.

It remains to be seen how Zimbabweans will receive Chamisa ‘s request to clap 40 times anywhere they are on independence day!
