The National chairperson of MDC T Morgen Komichi says he indefinitely accepts the ousting of Chamisa as he succeeded the late Morgan Tsvangirai through unconstitutional means.

Addressing the media on Thursday, Komichi said, Hwende, Chidziva, Chibaya, Zwizwai and himself advised Chamisa to comply with the high court ruling.

Komichi said Chamisa decided to ignore the advice, listened to advocate Thabani Mpofu who claimed that he had identified eleven key loopholes in the judgement and will challenge the ruling at the supreme court.

Komichi added that he told Chamisa not to proceed with tha May congress as it was going to be nullified.

Chamisa being a lawyer and a pastor should understand and respect the supreme court ruling which proved he is not the legitimate leader, said Komichi.

He has denied being a sellout saying he stands with the party values therefore he will defend his decision.

Furthermore, he said if the status quo is maintained whereby Chamisa continues ruling, “by 2023 there will not be MDC T” which is the component key in the MDC Alliance.

Komichi said he is ready to bring normalcy and restore the party to where it was left by the late founder Morgan Tsvangirai.

He alleged that all 2014 structures have endorsed him and are very determined to support the extraordinary congress to be held within three months.
