LEAD president Linda Masarira slammed the Movement for Democratic Change party for failing to run urban councils since 2002.

In an audio, Masarira said MDC is the the largest opposition party in Zimbabwe but has zero achievements to developing the country since ascending to power.

Linda said MDC which runs almost all urban councils should stop the blame game and corruption and focus on walking the talk.

She said the party is recording failure because they use the money meant for maintaining standards within the local authorities for their own benefits.

Themba Mliswa as an independent candidate has done way more to represent his constituency while the is failing to do quarter of what Mliswa has achieved for Norton, said Masarira.

She added that everyone has shifted focus to the political war between Nelson Chamisa and Thokozani Khupe instead of focusing on the way to deal with real issues like fighting the Covid-19 pandemic.

Youths should focus on pressing issues and the future of Zimbabwe instead of waiting for the government to do everything for the country of which they’re already failing, she said.
