ZANU PF Youth leaders, Godfrey Tsenengamu and Lewis Matutu publicly apologised to ED Mnangagwa and Zanu-pf as a whole for naming and shaming corrupt cartels within the party, yesterday.

Matutu and Tsenemangu said they  have come to realize the danger of exposing corruption which forms the backbone of Zanu-pf therefore they have decided to humble themselves and return to the party they were recently suspended from for indiscipline.

The duo is claiming that they are guided by Zanupf and they are still part of the party hence they will abide with whatever Mnangagwa and the entire leadership want.

Matutu and Tsenengamu have succumbed to pressure from the people they identified as the biggest contributors towards the crippling of the economy.

Grain Millers Association of Zimbabwe Chairman Tafadzwa Musarara slapped Lewis Matutu and Godfrey Tsenengamu with a ZWL 10million lawsuit arising from their Press Conference where they accused him of working with a cartel of white people to divert maize to the black market and causing a shortage of maize meal in the country.

The recent development contradicts what Tsenengamu said during a press statement last week alleging that they were not frightened even by death and they are willing to up the fight against corruption.

Matutu and Tsenengamu will most likely be sent to Herbert Chitepo Ideological College for discipline, the pair had defied the party’s directive to go for political orientation at the Herbert Chitepo School of Ideology following their suspension.

The pair is awaiting the response from the President and the party following their public apology however, they might go back to their positions.
