BUSINESS : Internet Slows Down Across Africa As two undersea Cables break

Internet slowed down across Africa this week after two major interns cables broke at the same time this week.

To make the situation worse, the ship that was supposed to carry engineers who were supposed to carry out the repairs could not leave Cape Town for more than a week due to bad weather.

South Africa’s Telkom is the most affected and has resorted to buying bandwidth from other undersea cable consortiums.
