Emmerson Mnangagwa yesterday told citizens to forget about eating meat and focus on heathy prescribed diets which includes vegetables and potatoes.
Addressing Kuwadzana citizens, Mnangagwa said he is a vegetarian.
“I have heard two of your pleas, meat and school fees, but i am not empowered to provide meat for you.
I listen to doctors so i eat vegetables and potatoes because they are rich in vitamins” he said.
Mnangagwa added that doctors wants people to eat vegetables not meat because it’s not health.
He added that he was going to address the issue of school fees which have been hiked, although his minister assured him that government schools did not raise the fees.
