ZRP has arrested two suspects for the murder of constable Hokoyo last Saturday whilst on duty in the hands of machete gangs and are still pursuing other suspects who are on the run.
The police officer was murdered in Battlefields while his partner was seriously injured and receiving medical attention.
In a ZRP statement, T Matanga urged citizens to desist from attacking officers on the duty.
Matanga added that the police and its stakeholders to ensure that incidents of gold rush are seriously dealt with.
Matanga said police will not stand by and allow unruly elements to affect and atack.
