The police has blocked the carrying of a coffin at the Gukurahundi Commemoration in Bulawayo today.
Some members of the society in Bulawayo have refused to honour the Unity Day today and have engaged into a citywide commemoration of the genocide.
The event was held at Stanley Hall.
ED Mnangagwa is seen as the most implicated pepetrator of the genocide which is alleged to have led to the killing of more than 20000 Ndebele natives.
