Today the Daily News reports that High Court has ordered Grace Mugabe and son Russell Goreraza to pay $278 000 to a legal firm which represented the two in a US $ 1.4 million million diamond ring deal.
The judgement was passed by Judge Edith Mushore.
The legal firm which had represented Grace and later sue her is Manase and Manase Legal Practitioners.
The case was against a Lebanese citizen Jamal Ahmed who accused Grace dupping her.
This is yet another humiliation blow for Grace Mugabe after she failed to evict illegal settlers on her farm. It seems like the long arm of protection from legal prosecution which she enjoyed in Robert Mugabe’s days had long left her.
