MDC-T Vice President Obert Gutu blasted Harare City councilors stating that they are corrupt, incompetent and inefficient people who have reduced the Sunshine City to a “Trash” City.
Gutu accused the councilors of enriching themselves at the expense of self delivery.
“They demand Ipads which most of them can’t even use at the expense of service delivery.
They spent lots of time ‘workshopping’ in Kadoma, Kariba and Nyanga whilst the city rots,” said Gutu.
He added that their corruption is agonizing and his rural home is smarter than Harare.
“We re-visit City of Harare and agonize over how the corrupt, incompetent and inefficient councilors have reduced Harare from the Sunshine City to the Trash City.
With this type of visionless councilors, my rural growth point, Mupandawana in Gutu, now looks smarter than Harare” said Gutu.
