ZANU PF’ s Provincial Affairs Minister Judith Ncube lied that people who turned up to show their grievances against an unfair recruitment at Mpilo were misled .
The Chronicle paper reports that Judith Ncube claims that the people did not come for demonstration but they were misinformed that Mpilo central hospital was recruiting .
Judith Ncube agrees that all the people from Matabeleland region were left out . She does not deny the unfair recruitment that took place. She added
“Nurse recruitment procedure was unfair as it left out prospective applicants in mostly rural areas”
Mpilo central hospital clinical director Doctor Solwayo Ngwenya exposed ZANU PF government’ unfairness as he said :
“It’s beyond our control, it is from the head office. We were not consulted, we were given the list, we did not take part. We used to advertise, accept letters, interview, appoint then we will send names of the successful applicants to Harare.”
ZANU PF policies have been characterised by falsehood and unfairness. Families of those in power stand to benefit as the ordinary citizens suffer.
