Nompumelelo Zuma, the third wife of South Africa’s former President Jacob Zuma has denied ever poisoning him.

Mrs Zuma became a suspect after poison was found by doctors in the blood of Jacob Zuma when he was treated in Russia in 2015.

Internal investigations by Zuma’s security at the time identified Nompumelelo as the source of his poisoning and she was immediately chased away from the Presidential homes.

Zuma also stopped supporting her in any way and she became a national outcast.

The South Africa National Prosecuting Authority however, say there is insufficient evidence to prosecute anyone over the alleged poisoning.

However, Mrs Zuma is planning to sue the NPA for ever considering her a suspect and her lawyers have written to the NPA demanding full disclosure of the information that the NPA used to reach the conclusion that she was responsible for Zuma’s poisoning.
