The just ended week has been eventful and many of our Zimbabwean artists were raising the flag high at international levels. The list below is a recognition of their societal contribution through their various areas of specialty.

Janet Manyowa

An award winning gospel artist whose music has continued to impact the lives of many.

In just this week, her music was being played in various places that includes kombis, grocery shops and motor vehicles. She scooped the NAMA 2018 Outstanding Female Musician Award. Her hit “Zadzisa” seems to have been on the lead this week amongst her fans.

Vimbai Mutinhiri

A Zimbabwean Actress, model and television personality. One of the lead actors that starred in the series Studio 263. She is also a Big Brother Star who, this week announced her engagement to her boyfriend of two years, the Nigerian businessman Andrew Ekpenyong.

Vimbai wrote “God’s time is the best time” on her twitter handle. Congratulations to you Vimbai.

Ruvheneko Parirenyatwa

The popular Zimbabwean radio and TV talk show host and a Master of Ceremonies made noise on social media after taking the spotlight stand in Rwanda during the Africa Youth Connekt.

She interacted with President Paul Kagame on the stage in Kigali, where as always she raised the Zimbabwean flag on high. Congratulation Ruvheneko, you are making us Proud.

Kimberly Robinson a.k.a Kim Jaydee

She is a model, MTV presenter in South Africa and Master of Ceremonies. She was recently selected to be in the top 100 Africa Youth Awards.

She continued to shine in the Matebeleland Region where she was invited to explore eleven homes, creative masterpieces made sorely from natural resources.

Tyra Chikocho a.k.a Madam Boss

She is a comedian, musician and entrepreneur. Madam Boss continues to brighten her fans’ faces through her daily comedies and work .

Samantha Musa popularly known as Miss Red

Radio and Television Personality, digital entrepreneur and founder of the #BeyondOctober.

She continues to make waves in the entertainment industry. She was also nominated for the the ZIRA Best Female Presenter /Producer.

Pokello

A Zimbabwean socialite , media personality and entrepreneur . She continues to be considered one of the most influential personalities.

Zuva Habane

She is a South African based Zimbabwean socialite who was recently nominated as the Business Woman of the year for the African Women of Essence 2019.

Her motivational speeches continue to be an inspiration to many young ladies even on virtual communities.

Bonnie Chimanikire

She is the founder of High Tea Events, and activist and entrepreneur. She is always inspired to provide solutions to the many socio-economic problems in Africa.

She has worked closely with victims of xenophobic attacks as she and her business partner donated food and clothes to misplaced immigrants at refugee camps.

Jackie Ngarande

She is a model and a pretty face with a big heart. Although her name is associated with many rumors, she has also managed to work her way out to the top.

She is a socialite and philanthropist. Jackie is the founder of an organisation called JNF, which pays school fees to the disadvantaged children.
