The Minister of Health and Child Welfare , Dr Obadiah Moyo has announced that all doctors should report to work on Monday.Failure to do so will result in discplinary action as they will be in breach of their contract of employment.
This happens after all parties to the Health Service Bipartite Negotiating Panel agreed to 60% increase on Health Specific Allowance
The doctors’ representatives are said to have walked out of the negotiations as they preferred a higher percentage though it was increased from the previous offer by Government of 30% which was rejected by the Health Apex Council.
